Harlandale finished ahead of Uvalde (12-11-1, 8-6) in third place in District 29-4A last Saturday after Agis pitched the Indians to a 2-0 victory. The teams were tied before the game in Uvalde.

Agis (9-1) allowed just three hits in pitching the Indians to victory. The senior right-hander walked just one and struck out 14, running his season total to 126.

Richard Acosta and Brandon Ramon each contributed two of the Indians’ six hits. Harlandale scored single runs in the fourth and sixth innings.

Harlandale will play 30-4A runner-up Victoria East (19-10-1) in a 7 p.m. game Friday in the bi-district round at Victoria’s Riverside Stadium.
